Late-Breaking Poster Submission

Abstract Submission for mmc2015 has now closed

The full mmc2015 Scientific Programme will be released in early June. The EMAG 2015 programme is available to view now.

Thank you to all those who have submitted to mmc2015. If you have any queries regarding your abstract please contact the mmc2015 office

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstracts can only be submitted online, in English, via the mmc2015 Abstract Submission system and all sections must be completed.

Abstracts should be a condensed version of the final presentation (max 7000 characters incl. spaces) and include all significant findings. Write the text, and include enough information, so that readers who are not specialists will be able to appreciate the purpose of your study and understand the procedures and conclusions. You may include supporting figures, tables and images.

Abstracts should be structured as follows (use of these headings is not required)

1) Summary
2) Introduction
3) Methods/Materials
4) Results & Discussion
5) Conclusion

The required format for any images is jpeg, tif or gif files (not to exceed 500KB). Please note that any files uploaded in a .doc (Word), .ppt (PowerPoint), .xls (Excel) or any other format not mentioned above, will not be accepted. Please take into consideration the pixel width and height of your image in relation to your abstract text. Pictures that are too large will affect the presentation of your abstract on the online programme.

After the submission deadline - 15 May 2015 - abstracts will not be accessible for correction. The need for major revisions may affect a session organiser’s decision to accept your abstract, please review it carefully before submission.

Abstracts will be reviewed according to the following criteria:

a) relevance to a particular symposium
b) scientific content, quality and innovation
c) clarity of the text

Abstracts not satisfactorily meeting these criteria will be rejected. Accepted abstracts must be presented by an author who has registered and paid for the conference. An exhibition visitor registration will not be considered a valid registration to present your work and failure to register for the conference prior to its start, will result in your work being excluded from the Congress.

Final decision on the acceptance of your Late Breaking Poster lies with the Scientific Organising Committee.

All correspondence relating to abstract submission will be by email. If you have any queries, these should be sent to the mmc2015 office.
